DevOps Engineer - Belgrade

eFront is looking for an engineer willing to be part of our DevOps team. You will help us through automation to improve the release cycle of our products and adopt the latest technology standards. You are eager to learn from people that master a very wide range of skills from IT to development and you consider yourself as a fast learner and strive to acquire independency through time.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• We are currently improving our release management cycle to deliver faster and better our SaaS solutions, which includes:
• Migrate all our code base to Git and contribute to define best practices and policies
• Constantly refine the continuous delivery pipeline
• Enhance cloud deployment tooling
• Automate any tasks that would improve our day to day efficiency
• You will be mentored along the way, but we’re looking for individuals that will be able in the near future to take the lead on some of the main topics that we cover.

Technologies involved:

eFront is a company working mostly on Microsoft based products and technologies: SQL Server, .net, IIS, Visual Studio, Team Foundation Server, PowerShell, Office 365. We also fully rely on Amazon Web Services for Cloud based solutions (IaaS, SaaS).

Required skills and experience:

• BS in Information Science/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• At least 2 years of experience related to development, DevOps and possibly System administration
• Software development skills (C#/.net preferably)
• Good understanding of Source Control, Bug Tracking, Scrum Management, and Continuous Integration based tools
• Experience with automation frameworks and scripting languages
• Desire to develop tooling for the R&D team
